The RER (Regional Train Paris)
RER is an urban-suburban rail line that services greater Paris. RER trains are perfect for quickly traveling across the city and reaching popular attractions like Versailles and Disneyland Paris.
This is the urban - suburban train so study its route before you board. It’s primarily a suburban line but it’s fantastic for getting around Paris if they’re located near your apartment, because there are fewer stops than the regular métro. We’re lucky because most of our apartments are located near to an RER stop. Best yet, if you’re traveling within Paris – such as your apartment to Notre Dame, you just use a regular métro ticket.
