Located in a historic building dating back to the 17th century, the Pétrus is the epitome of Parisian class. Nestled in the iconic Place Dauphine, its proximity our beautiful La Place Dauphine makes it ideal for families and group stays!
The Pétrus exudes sophistication and style. Its unique interior marries modern design with traditional French features, creating a harmonious atmosphere of old and new elegance. The sumptuous open-plan living room and dining area radiates warmth, thanks in part to the sandstone walls and exposed, traditional oak beams. An antique fireplace provides a lovely focal point and offsets the contemporary sofa fabulously. Perhaps best of all, the living room looks out over Paris with its three large windows revealing a perfect city backdrop. The sleek kitchen, complete with black marble worktops, is fully equipped, with the Le Cornue oven and stove as a bonus for the culinary masters. On the first floor of this duplex, there is also a handy utility room with a separate washer and dryer and a half bath. You’ll not be disappointed as you climb the staircase. Two gorgeous bedrooms await on the top floor. Generous bedroom 1 is complete with a lavish bed and ample wardrobe space. The well-appointed en suite oozes luxury with its specially made sink of Carrera marble. Bedroom 2 also has the added bonus of a private bathroom nearby with a stand-up shower. With a sofa in the living room that converts to a double bed, the Pétrus comfortably sleeps five guests. The Pétrus offers air-conditioning in the bedrooms and living room for your comfort.
Situated on the Île de la Cité, with the Pétrus as your home, you’ll experience the heart of the city. Thought to be the oldest neighborhood in Paris, the city’s history is certainly apparent in the surroundings. In minutes, you’ll experience the magnificence of Notre Dame and the splendor of Sainte-Chapelle, with its incredible 13th-century stained glass. A selection of metro stops nearby also makes the Pétrus a great base for exploring all of Paris or if you’re planning a day trip to Versailles. The peaceful nature of Place Dauphine means you can enjoy the City of Light at your own pace, and there’s always the charming mix of cafes and bistros right at your doorstep!
