London SEA LIFE Aquarium
The London SEA LIFE Aquarium is home to one of Europe's largest marine wildlife collections, so you’ll want to reserve a few hours of your vacation to explore its tranquil underwater realms. The shark reef provides an unrivalled look into the world of these misunderstood predators, and you can admire their power and grace as they glide beneath your feet as you make your way along the Shark Walk. Next, be transported to the freezing Arctic and meet some of the aquarium's newest guests - the Gentoo penguins. Explore their wintry world as you watch them dive and play, and discover how they live with a peek inside their ice cave home.
Make sure to check the feeding schedule on your arrival, as feedings take place throughout the day and the accompanying talks are absorbing for all ages. The Cow Nosed Rays make adorable smiley faces while feeding, while the highly intelligent octopi are often presented with challenges in order to earn their meal.
From the curiously dainty seahorses to the powerful predators of the shark tank, the London SEA LIFE Aquarium has something for everyone. Located on the South Bank of the Thames, the aquarium is ideally situated close to many of London's top attractions.
