Originally opened in 1946 and moved to its current location in 1977, Le Lido is famed for its exotic cabaret and burlesque show, but it’s also welcomed a host of celebrities and star performers over the years as well. Edith Piaf, Eartha Kitt, Josephine Baker, Laurel & Hardy, and even Elton John have all performed on Le Lido’s stage, and the sprawling theater continues to feature some of the most stunning performances in the city. With eye-popping costumes, intricate sets, and a shimmering atmosphere, Le Lido is known as the destination of choice for amplified and spellbinding entertainment.

Known as the primary opera company in France, L'Opéra de Paris has deep roots that date back to the 1669 when it was originally founded as the Académie d'Opéra by Louis XIV. Primarily operating out of the modern 2700-seat Opéra Bastille, the company produces operas as well as ballets and contemporary works at their home theater, or at slightly smaller stages such as the Palais Garnier. Roughly 380 performances are hosted by the Opéra annually, which attracts thousands and thousands of patrons to take in the world-class music, grand settings, and legendary performances. With incredible shows that range from the classic to the up-to-the-minute contemporary, the arts have never been so all-encompassing than with this iconic company that has been wowing audiences for more than 400 years.

Renowned as one of the oldest cabarets in the city of Pairs, Les Folies Bergères is famed for its decadent history, long roster of famed performers, and its iconic Art Nouveau posters that are still sold throughout the city as classic prints. Originally opened in 1886 as a “new” form of an entertainment that specialized in a music-hall revue style show, the ensuing extravagant costumes and acts set the stage for the vibrant cabaret culture to follow. Over the ensuing decades, a number of stars cemented their fame on Les Folies Bergères’ stage including Josephine Baker, Charlie Chaplin and Dalida, and today the theater hosts a myriad of colorful dancers, singers and humorists who engage modern patrons. Renowned as one of the first venues to put women in the spotlight, Les Folies Bergères continues a tradition of classic cabaret entertainment with a more modern façade and atmosphere.
