"We loved our stay at the Paris Perfect apartments,
We stayed in the Rue Cler area, the market is great, a super area, and the apartments was fabulous Pomerol, great neighbourhood, beautiful furniture, nicely decorated, exquiste view of the Eiffel tower light show, everything you need at your finger tips. We especially liked getting up and having our coffee, lounging and planning our day in a relaxed fashion, also appreciated the english DVD's. If we had any questions, in fact, I found you did not have to speak French, most were willing to help out and a very easy city to walk around and see all the site............a must for all travelers.

"We had an absolutely wonderful time in Paris, and a big part of that was staying in such a great apartment (Pomerol), and dealing with such great people. The location was ideal, with Rue Cler market right downstairs, and everyone associated with Paris Perfect seem genuinely concerned that your stay is indeed perfect. We are already talking about returning to Paris with our two children (London too)."

""We had a wonderful time in your apartment this September. Photo's on your website do not do justice to the spectacular view of the Eiffel Tower and Parisian rooftops directly from the well appointed living room. Also, the kitchen was extremely well equipped and a pleasure to use.
As for the location, proximity to the Champ de Mar for our toddler and the food shopping on Rue St. Dominique for our European in-laws could not have been better. Easy access to the Grand Magasins via metro kept the fashionista in my wife happy and the neighborhood restaurants could not have been more charming and accomodating.
All in all a wonderful experience. We hope to return soon.""

"My friends and I recently spent a wonderful week at the apartment called St. Emillion. It is beautiful and lived up to all of our expectations and more. We found Phillipe and Madlyn to be wonderful hosts and kind and helpful in every way. I highly reccomend these accomodations. Sincerely, Judith"

"My wife, my 3 children, ages 13, 15, and 17, and I spent the first week in July in the Romanee apartment. It was everything the website promised, except for one – it was even closer to the Eiffel Tower than the map or the pictures indicate! It was wonderful.
Paris Perfect delivered on everything it promised. Our flight was late, our shuttle took over two hours to get us to the apartment, we couldn’t get our cell phone to function, and when we showed up at the apartment, Caroline was already there to greet us and let us drop off our bags. The apartment was cleaned and available for us only a few hours later (much earlier than we hoped) and we were able to return and sleep and then enjoy Paris over the next 7 days.
Every day in Paris was great. Shopping and sight-seeing was all made so much easier by having a "home" to return to and rest and relax before going out to dinner.
The apartment was everything you see on the website and more. With 3 teenagers and two adults each wanting to shower / bathe in the morning and after a long day out, we had two baths/showers in simultaneous use and we still never ran out of hot water. The fact that the Romanee has two separate toilets (one separate WC and one toilet in the master bath) was a godsend.
The apartment was exceedingly quiet and safe and sleeping was easy and comfortable every night. Two adults in the master bedroom, one child in the other bedroom, one on the fold out bed in the living room (which each of the children agreed was the best bed), and one on a futon in the living room. We had ample and comfortable space. We over-packed by a factor of 2 or 3, and we still had more than enough space for our clothing and bags.
It is a wonderful location (just a VERY SHORT block from the Eiffel Tower and such a wonderful, safe neighborhood). My wife and I spent three nights out at dinner by ourselves, and our children went to the Eiffel Tower by themselves after dark two of these nights and mingled with the throngs of tourists. We felt very comfortable letting the children go out on their own (so long as they stayed together) to the Eiffel Tower and to the local Pizzeria for takeout (run by a very courteous and friendly Algerian gentleman who spoke just a word or two of English but was able to understand exactly what our children ordered).
Each trip to Paris must include at least one trip up the Eiffel Tower. We took at least three. Having it so close meant that we could visit it several times at the exact time we wanted, to see the view from the top in the day, at sunset and after dark.
The "Fun Things to Do in Paris" brochure, which Paris Perfect provided by email before we arrived, was excellent. We visited several of the restaurants that the brochure recommended. Our children's favorite was La Taverna, which the whole family loved. On one of our "nights out" without the kids, my wife and walked to Thoumieux where I tried the "Cassoulet" recommended by Philippe in the brochure. I couldn't believe that I had traveled all the way to Paris (the home of the world's best cuisine) to order a bean casserole. But it turned to be my favorite meal of the trip. Thank you Philippe and Madelyn.
There are 4 metro/RER stops within easy walking distance – Ecole Militaire, Pont de l'Alma (which seemed to be the closest), Bir-Hakeim and Champs de Mars. No matter where we were in the City, at least one of these stops was usually only one transfer away, and sometimes, no need to transfer at all.
When we vacation with my children, we usually rent an apartment in the city we visit. The children are simply too mature for one hotel room to work, and to rent two rooms splits up the family and ruins the experience. Our experiences in resort/apartment rentals range from "good" to "miserable". Our last jaunt was to the Fiesta Bowl in Phoenix in December where we stayed at a well known golf resort in a 3 bedroom condo. It was nice, but it could not compare to ParisPerfect. The Romanee was miles and miles better than any other apartment or resort I have ever been to, and was, well – Perfect! We would go back in a heartbeat. Thank You Paris Perfect."

"Thank you for a good stay in Paris. The apartment is in a great location with a very pleasant neighbourhood with everything within walking distance.
Perfect for two people that wants a romantic getaway. We were four people and it worked fine and we enjoyed the stay.
Very clean, very well prepared and very hospitable welcome and support. The information provided about Paris and the things you can do was very useful.
We will be back."

""Our family of five (we have three sons ages 11, 17 and 20) just returned from a one-week stay in the wonderful Merlot apartment. It was a first trip to Paris, and your apartment made it even more special. We loved the furnishings, the special touches like the gift basket and DVDs to use, that made it so memorable. Even though the week started out warm (sticky, mid-80s), your fans and open windows made it quite comfortable. Your perfect location can't be beat....we enjoyed the neighborhood cafes, the great bakeries, and a few nights we put together our own take-in dinner from the Rue Cler vendors. We'd rent another place from you in a minute the next time we're lucky enough to vacation in Paris.

"My wife and I stayed in your lovely Merlot apartment in mid-May, 2004 -- celebrating our 25th. Our special treat was having our daughter join us -- who, at the time, was studying in Europe. So -- the accomodations were just perfect; Jenni had her own room and privacy while my wife and I shared the master. Your apartment, Philippe and Madelyn, was beautifully appointed -- as evidenced by the stunning but quite comfortable furniture, special and highly functional built-ins, especially in the kitchen and baths and inviting terrace overlooking the Eiffel Tower. Every morning, I'd wander through the neighborhhod to bring back the freshest croissants, cheeses, eggs and herbs -- whip together one of my favorite breakfast concoctions and serve them to my girls as they'd sit out on the terrace enjoying the view of Parisian life. Just a wonderful time. Thank you for the welcome basket upon our arrival too -- a very pleasant personal touch."

"Renting an apartment vs. staying at hotel was new for us. We loved the experience so much we can't go back to staying at a hotel surrounded by tourist postcards and t-shirts ever again. What a wonderful surprise it was to enter the world of the Pomerol - easy check in/check out, a fantastic neighborhood, an informative neighborhood suggestion book with countless restaurants to choose from and a beautifully decorated apartment (with laundry)! Our ten day stay on the corner of Cler and Grenelle made the daily produce shopping so much fun, not to mention an incredibly easy walk to the pastry shop for our daily dose of macaroons. Philippe and Madelyn provide their guests with outstanding service. We will be back.

"We just returned home after spending ten glorious days in Paris. The highlight of the trip was staying in your apartment. Thank you so much for your kind hospitality and orientation to the area of Paris we grew to love.
From the moment we arrived, we felt welcome. The apartment was wonderful, charming and after a few days, felt like home.
Our wonderful memories include: Rue Cler and Rue Grennelle markets, Champs de Mars Park (especially on the week-ends with all the French families enjoying themselves), walking along the River Seine (so close to the apartment), and easy access to the Metro.
This was our fourth trip to Paris and our first experience staying in an apartment and we will definitely do it again. We do plan on returning and staying in an apartment with "Paris Perfect"."

"We were delighted with our Pomerol rental. It was in perfect condition and very well designed. We have rented from other companies before and there is no question this is the most professionally run organization. The owners are wonderful and could not be more helpful. I highly recommend anyone visiting Paris who wants to rent work with Paris Perfect. They are the best!

"Our family of two adults and two daughters (ages 8 & 10) just returned from a week in Paris, staying in one apartment, while our dear friends with their two daughters (ages 7 & 11) stayed in another apartment, in the adjacent building. We all had a fabulous time, greatly enhanced by the beautifully furnished and spacious accomodations in such a fabulous location. I have been to Paris many times, staying in accommodations ranging from youth hostels to 5 star hotels, but never before have I felt like I had lived in Paris for a week, rather than simply visiting. The location is absolutely perfect, surrounded by great restaurants and amazing food shops, and of course the drop-dead eiffel tower views. We own and rent out a couple of luxury vacation properties ourselves, and I must admit that I picked up several ideas from the truly gracious experience that Philippe and Madelyn have created... The extensive guide to the city and especially the neighborhood was very helpful (especially the notes on which restaurants to avoid; something you'd never find in Fodors, etc.!). A word of caution - book early, as we have already raved about our experience to many of our friends and colleagues!"

"We stayed at the Merlot apartment in late March and completely fell in love. We couldn't tell what we loved more - Paris or the apartment! It was a true fairy tale experience. The view from the apartment (from living room and bedroom) is indescribable. When friends look at my pictures from the apartment they comment on the view more than any other pics we took. Every detail is taken care of - a beautiful welcome basket with some goodies, a thorough orientation manual with important numbers, tips, etc., and even some starter items in the kitchen to make you feel right at home. When we ran into any problems, you were immediately responsive. This unit and parisperfect as a whole is more than worth what we paid. You can't put a price tag on the memories paris perfect helped us create. Thank you, thank you!! We will be back!"

""ParisPerfect" is a most fitting name for the week we spent last December in your Merlot apartment. From our communication prior to the trip to Madelyn's helping me find a large street map of Paris after we returned home, everything was exactly as you promised.
The apartment seemed palatial after the hotel room in le Marais where we stayed on a ten-day trip in May. We also loved feeling a part of a neighborhood and had a lovely time each morning choosing where to buy our breakfast!
For me, though, the definitive difference in a ParisPerfect apartment was the detailed information to help us enjoy the apartment, the neighborhood, and Paris. I felt more like a houseguest (and by the end of the week not so very foreign!) than a temporary renter; it was almost like being sent out everyday with a myriad of possibilities to explore & and a personal guide to tell us exactly how to access what was most interesting to us.
I have already alerted several friends to the website, and we will definitely be back for a ParisPerfect trip.

"Dear Philippe and Madelyn,
I just wanted to let you know how delighted we were with the apartment. It was even more charming than your site shows it to be. The view, the furnishings and the accruterments were all superior. The neighborhood, by the way, is one of the nicest in Paris.
When we decide to return to Paris, rest assured that we will contact you first to reserve our apartment.
Thank you again,"

"Madelyn has created the perfect vacation experience. Friends and I stayed at the Pomerol and had a wonderful stay. This was the first apartment stay for all of us. We were all a bit nervous since we did not know what to expect. It was the best choice! Madelyn made this an excellent experience starting with our first e-mail correspondence to the speedy refund of our security deposit.
The apartment had everything you could ever need on vacation and more. We couldn't have asked for better accommodations. The packet Madelyn provided was excellent and became our psuedo bible. We loved all the details. We have been back for three weeks and we are still raving about the apartment and the beautiful neighborhood.
I can't wait to stay in one of their other apartments!"

"Philippe and Madelyn:
Staying in the Merlot and then the Chardonnay made our trip one to remember! All the amenities of home, but in Paris, what more could one ask? Thank you for providing easy to follow instructions for getting to and from the apartments and surrounding area - made finding our jeg-lagged way simple!
Our hats off to you for creating such a positive, relaxing experience for those wishing to enjoy all Paris has to offer. We'll be back! Maybe we'll even let our husbands come next time...

"Your apartment was fabulous! The experience of staying at an apartment instead of a hotel was so much more French - we enjoyed going to the markets, eating our baguettes and croissants for breakfast at home and practicing our French with the very kind people in the neighborhood shops. But honestly, the best thing about our stay was the many notes that Madelyn left for us, describing everything from the neighborhood restaurants and shops, to things to do all over Paris with our teenage boys. Every detail was thought of - we couldn't think of a thing that we needed in the apartment that was not there - and the apartment itself is so comfortable but beautifully appointed that we felt welcome immediately.
I can't wait to come back!"

"What a wonderful home away from home in Paris! St. Emilion couldn't have a better location or a better view of the Eiffel Tower! The day trip to Normandy is a must and being within walking distance to all the "must see" places made those visits very easy. The best part was that, in February, there are no lines. Lunch at Jules Verne was also a treat - just pick a clear day. We also had a car for the week and the parking tip is to find a spot near the Tower - especially easy once the busses leave."

"The name says it all! We have traveled to Paris many times and have finally found the location we will absolutely return to again and again. The neighborhood is quiet, filled with many great bistros and of course the Rue Cler market. The view of the Eiffel Tower is fantastic at anytime of day or night. The extra efforts in making the apartment meet our every needs were found at every turn. The kitchen is beautiful and made shopping at the markets that much more enjoyable. After long days of wandering through Paris, it was the perfect place to return home to and unwind. We have already recommended 'Paris Perfect' to several of our friends and plan on returning as soon as we can. Thanks for the 'perfect' way to experience Paris."
