Château Latour

Château Latour

"For two weeks we spent an excellent time in Paris at Château Latour. The apartment is very well situated in the 7th arrondissement and it truly won us over. The Eiffel Tower view, the large size of the apartment, its comfort, proximity to the mtro, buses and many wonderful restaurants pleased us enormously. I would like to make special mention of Paris Perfect's professionalism which helped to make our trip enjoyable and to go off without a hitch. I definitely plan on choosing Paris Perfect for my next apartment stay in Paris.

"We were thrilled with the Cognac! The location was just perfect...10 minutes walk to the river, the Eiffel Tower and the Metro. You couldn't ask for a more central location. The apartment was spacious, comfortable and the views of the Eiffel Tower were breathtaking. We had 5 people staying there and there was plenty of room for all of us. The kitchen was just terrific and we even made a meal one night and dined in (you must check out the Picard Frozen food store just own the block). Everyone at Paris Perfect was incredibly helpful and accommodating - it really was perfect! Thank you!"

Maranges

"Maranges was a perfect place for us (me, my wife and our 14 and 10 year-old daughters) to stay during our week in Paris.

First, the location could not be better. Right off Avenue St. Germain, not even a block to Cafe de Flore, Chez Lipp and a number of other wonderful spots on St. Germain. Only a couple blocks to two different Metro stations that got us pretty much anywhere we wanted to go in the city. I think we all agreed we would stay in the 6th Arr. again without hesitation - a favorite part of the City for us.

Next, the apartment was wonderful. Super secure on the 4th floor. Beautiful winding staircase up to the apt (or an elevator if you're so inclined). Wonderful light throughout the apt. We loved the decor. Everything was new and functional in the kitchen and bathroom. Slept the four of us very comfortably (two in the bedroom, two in the living area with the fold-out bed and trundle bed. The only thing you don't get is an unobstucted view of any part of the City, but this did not bother us at all. A highlight were the church bells on Sunday morning.

Finally, Paris Pefect lived up to their name. They were super helpful throughout our visit and proved to be a great resource and super friendly and professional operation to work with.

Thanks and we hope to work with you again on a future stay in Paris."

"

Our stay was lovely. From the minute we arrived to the minute we left. Over the course of our 7 days here it became more and more clear that someone has put a lot of effort into making this apartment absolutely perfect. To be honest, I am a "clean freak" and I can say that whoever does your cleaning is someone just like me. I really truly appreciate that someone obviously takes the time to make sure everything is perfect.

"We stayed at Clairette in July with my family of four -- myself and my husband, and my daughter (age 12) and son (age 9). Everything was wonderful -- the apartment was bright, comfy, a spectactuly view and well-appointed. I honestly cannot think of anything else I might have wished for in the apartment - it was even equipped with things I didn't imagine I would need (like a great collection of DVDs - which proved great for the kids when they needed some downtime. Having 'Family Movie Night' watching A King's Speech was a great memory). The location was superb - everything we needed was a short walk away. And the Paris Perfect staff was helpful with small requests during the week. One pays a premium for a Paris Perfect rental but I was thrilled to find that it was worth every penny. I would love to be a repeat client some day."

"We absolutely loved our stay at Chateauneuf! We were two families of four, and although I believe the apartment is better suited to 6 people instead of 8, we really never felt cramped or on top of one another. Having laundry facilities was such a plus too. The location was fantastic! The neighborhood is beautiful, the Eiffel Tower is very close by and the wonderful Rue Cler was a five minute walk. The kitchen is small, but very functional. We cooked several meals there and had everything we needed. We loved Paris and hope to come back. When we do, we will definitely lease from Paris Perfect again."

If you are looking for the comforts of home and getting a sense of what living in Paris is like, the Cabernet is for you! And given what an apartment like the Cabernet would cost to live in, a stay at the Cabernet is like living in a Parisian dream. We felt at home the instant we stepped into the apartment. It looked exactly as we expected from the Paris Perfect website photos, including the view of the Eiffel Tower! We loved the location on Rue St. Dominique...everything you need is on the same street.......a boulangerie and grocery store across the street, some great restaurants (Cafe Constant, Les Cocottes and Fontaine de Mars). The neighborhood seems like one that people would live in....great for strolling, shopping and looking at beautiful buildings. Although there are many restaurants (some with bars), it didn't seem to be an area with a big night life scene (which was fine for us), so if you are looking for that you might be happier in a more trendy neighborhood. Here are a few things others haven't commented on...the free wireless internet access worked great and the free phone calls were a nice bonus. The apt has great closet and storage space...we were able to move right in! The shower in bedroom has great water pressure. Loved having a washer...although it was small, it worked great; however, the dryer was terrible, but you can use the small drying rack (which I wish was bigger).....a tip... bring a few hangers to use for drying clothes because the ones in the closet cannot be removed. You're probably thinking... who goes to Paris to do laundry?? True, but we were there for 10 days and wanted to pack light so it was a great convenience. Another observation....the website says Cabernet can accommodate up to 4 people...unless you are really close, I think it's more suited to a couple or a family with 2 kids....couldn't see sharing it with another couple. If you're going to be in Paris for longer than a few days, Paris Perfect is a great value and a fantastic, luxurious alternative to a hotel. It's easy to love Paris, but the Cabernet made the experience even better and memorable. We highly recommend it and can't wait to come back!

"We enjoyed a wonderful week in Paris staying in the Saint Emilion apartment which was beautiful and well appointed. We are a family of 4 and the apartment was the perfect size. What a treat to sit at the dining room table and have the Eiffel Tower right out the window. The view was stunning! Everyone at Paris Perfect was professional, helpful and friendly from our first phone call to the welcome greeting the day we arrived. Would recommend them in a minute."

"Chateau Latour's view is fabulous, once you get over the shock of how beautiful the view is you appreciate how the location is close to everything. We had four adults on our trip and had plenty of space.

Paris Perfect sends you the getting to know your neighborhood booklet once you book your apartment, it is priceless! The booklet tells you everything about your area and then some, it was a valuable tool for us.(go to the frozen food shop down the street, it's wonderful)

My daughter and I took Madelyn's advice and had our hair cut and colored, it was a great experience with a great hair cut!

Paris Perfect does a great job answering any questions you have while there.(Tours, bus/metro routes, bistros, shopping)

We loved Chateau Latour and the Paris Perfect experience and would do it all again in a heartbeat! Thanks for giving us memories that will last a lifetime."

"We wanted to do this special trip "right" - our family was traveling to Paris to celebrate our parents 50th wedding anniversary. Happy to report that EVERYTHING went "right" with our Paris Perfect experience: Phillipe was extremely helpful & patient when we made our reservations, Kevin made sure that we arrived safely with all of our luggage, as well as giving us a status update of our apt (it was ready for us despite having arrived before the 3 pm check-in), Sam, our gracious greeter, was waiting for us when we finally arrived to our apt., despite having to go around numerous detours due to the Bastille Day activities around the Eiffel Tower (which is 1/2 block from the St. Emilion apt). Upon entering the apt. the WOW factor cannot be overstated-pictures cannot do it justice, you HAVE to experience it to believe it! I would wake up early & go for a run around the Eifel Tower/Champs de Mars & head to the local boulangerie for our daily breakfast items (it was a really cool experience when the owner recognized me & knew my order!). Seeing my family (in their PJ's) having bkfst over looking the Eiffel Tower is a memory I soon won't forget - it was so "right"! Thank you Paris Perfect - you were the "right" choice for us! We also HIGHLY recommend that you use Victor for all of your transportation needs - extremely dependable & reasonable!"

Our 30th anniversary celebration tour of Europe was capped-off with a 'Perfect in Paris' ten day stay in the Champagne apartment. The apartment was everything we saw on the website, everything we read in the description, and everything that we envisioned - and then some. And foremost in that 'some' was the view of the Eiffel Tower! No matter what time of time day, nor in what kind of weather, the view of the 'Grande Dame' from either the wrap-around balcony or settled in the armchairs within the apartment, never ceased to delight us. It was truly magnificent! We had selected this particular apartment from the extensive 'catalog' of Paris Perfect properties because (1) of its proximity to the Eiffel Tower, (2) that the tower could be seen from inside the apartment (and being able to from four separate French doors was even better), (3) that it have central A/C, (4) a kitchen with good layout, and (5) that it be located within easy distance of the metro. All conditions were met superbly. After we settled in, we decided upon dinner at one of the recommendations in the special services binder which is provided by Paris Perfect (and written by Madelyn if I am not mistaken). This binder not only lists a number of nearby restaurants, but also all the food shops, grocery stores, open-air food markets, etc. in the neighborhood, as well as interesting places to visit in other areas of Paris. Detailed instruction manuals for the appliances (even so, the oven needed some close study to interpret the 'universal' signage, and we resorted to hand-washing the dishes as opposed to tackling the dishwasher!) So, the restaurant that first night, and actually for the only night we ate out during our entire ten day stay in Paris, was Le Violon d'Ingres. What a delight! From the reception greeting by the Directeur de Salle, Alexandre Lallemode, to the warm ambience and fantastic food complemented by a recommended (and wonderful) bottle of Savigny-les-Beaune 1er Cru, everything about our dinner was first-class. Was it not that we had a lot of food in the refrigerator on our last night in Paris we would have made this restaurant the choice for that evening as well. And contributing to the full refrigerator was almost daily trips to the nearby shops and markets. For an open-air market on a Saturday morning, President Wilson at place d'Iena (just across the Seine) is absolutely incredible. Get there before the opening hour of 8 AM for the best viewing and photo op of everyone setting-up their booths and arranging their products for sale. And certainly Rue de Cler must be visited for their fine outdoor stands and gourmet shops. Closer to the apartment - for an excellent selection of fine wines, Le Repaire de Bacchus is right across the street. Meats at Les Viandes du Champ de Mars. Flowers at the shop down on the corner. Daily fresh bread and pastries from Le Champ des Délices. And for general items, or when the specialty shops are closed, the Supermarché G20 is less than four doors down. Everything one needs is within 5 minutes' walk from the apartment. And the apartment provides a rolling shopping cart to help one bring all these goodies home! Through Paris Perfect's recommended concierge, Lisa Buros-Hutchins with Your Paris Experience, we connected with Diane Anthonissen with Paris Cooking Company. Diane operates a private dining, lessons and market tour company. With a few email exchanges, Diane and we decided upon a six course meal for our 30th anniversary dinner, which was prepared by Diane in the apartment on our special day. Diane and her husband Eric (they work as a team) came by two days earlier to help us select the dishes, stemware and glasses. Lisa at Paris Perfect arranged for an extra table to be delivered by Paris Perfect's handyman, Waldi, so that it could be set-up in the living room of the Champagne apartment. This gave Diane and the maitre de hotel, Charles, the full run of the kitchen and regular dining area while we enjoyed the nightly illumination of the Eiffel Tower through the window and with great excitement and anticipation, awaited the dinner which would be coming through the connecting door. And what a FANTASTIC dinner it was! Course after wonderful course, along with wine pairing, the dishes skillfully prepared and elegantly served. It easily topped any Michelin 3, no make that 4, star restaurant in Paris! What a wonderful evening! To us, we could not have chosen a better location, a better apartment, a better rental and concierge company, nor a better chef to help us arrange and celebrate our 30th anniversary ten day stay in Paris. And for anyone who asked us while we were in Paris, and now that we are back home, 'What was your favorite place in Paris?' - we simply reply 'the Champagne apartment'! Merci to everyone - Sarah, Lisa & Waldi - at Paris Perfect for all your assistance and attention, and to Lisa at Your Paris Experience for the great referral. To Diane and Eric Anthonissen, and Charles, thanks ever so much for making our anniversary dinner one that we will recall time and time again with fond memories, one we will cherish forever. Paris is always a good idea - Audrey Hepburn (from the movie Sabrina). [Had Audrey known, we are sure she would have said'Paris Perfect is always a good idea'!]

"Our familty of 5 recently returned from a 1 week stay in the Saint Julien apartment and could not have been more pleased with our stay. The apartment was exactly as depicted on the website with great furnishings and an awesome location. On our trip to Europe, we rented a total of 5 apartments in various cities and it is clear that Paris Perfect is head and shoulders above the other companies out there--they literally think of everything--whether it was the welcome basket of milk, juice and cookies, the Nespresso machine, the guide books, the extra paper towels and even the soaps and shower gels everything is designed to allow you to enjoy your stay rather than worry about the little details. We could not have been happier with our stay and our working with Paris Perfect and cannot recommend them enough."

Maranges

Maranges

"We made a late decision to celebrate a big anniversary in Paris over the 4th of July and, having stayed with Paris Perfect before, contacted them for a booking. Maranges was the only apartment available for our scheduled 2 weeks; we reserved it with some hesitation as we have enjoyed staying in the 7th.

From the moment we walked in we were delighted by both the apartment and its location. Central AC, a huge master bedroom, high end kitchen appliances, great bath - all in the middle of Paris!

Rue du Dragon is charming and quiet, yet we walked to the Rodin Museum, Cluny, Musee d'Orsay, Louvre, Luxembourg Gardens, Gaya par Gagnaire, Brasserie Petit Lutetia, L'Atelier de Joel Robuchon, Terroir Parisien, Les Botanistes, Cafe Varenne, Brasserie Balzar, Le Bon Marche, the Raspail markets and Pont de l'Alma for the Bastille Day fireworks.

The Rue de Buci/Rue de Seine market more than met our needs (even an Eric Kayser outpost and Berthillon ice cream at the Paul Smith boulangerie) and was a 5 minute walk - Poilane is 5 minutes away on Rue Cherche de Midi.

Our daughter and granddaughter arrived for the 2nd week and found the famous Paris Perfect sofa's conversion to comfortable twin beds (each with a headboard) made for a comfortable stay. Even with only one bath we managed well (although for two couples it might be a bit more difficult).

One minor con: it took PP's handyman to figure out how to use the cooktop as the instructions were not quite accurate (one must hold down the key symbol until it beeps, then hold down the power symbol until it beeps, then rotate through the three hotplate symbols - slowly - until the correct one(s) light up, then - and only then - use the + and - keys to set the heat setting). The pro: he arrived promptly after we called for help. And as an earlier reviewer has noted, we also suffered the crevasse in the zipped up king bed, although after the maid came at the end of week one, the problem disappeared.

By the time we left I was ready to call Madelyn to inquire about monthly rental rates. All in all, another wonderful Paris Perfect vacation. And we can't say enough about Victor and his reliable taxi service. Merci, Paris Perfect, et a bientot!"
