Located in the popular 15th arrondissement, on the Left Bank near the Seine and not far from the Eiffel Tower, the Beaugrenelle shopping center offers a cool, modern and sophisticated shopping experience in the heart of Paris. Quite different from anything else you will find in an old Parisian department store and certainly far from the typical boutiques that Paris is known and loved for, it’s a unique shopping spot – with lovely Paris views, too!
Beaugrenelle, which opened its doors in October 2013, is a redesign of the former shopping center that was built in the 1970s. This unique architectural shopping mall (Designed by Valode and Pistre Architects) is divided between two buildings consisting of 6 floors, which are further divided into three sections – Panoramic, Magnetic and City. Connecting the two buildings is a foot bridge where you can enjoy a view of the Seine and surrounding areas. The mall is also home to many restaurants that offer views of the city and a Panoramic bar for both Parisians and tourists to enjoy the incredible sights of this beautiful city.
Once inside you will find that the centre has an effortless and streamlined design, which focuses on the central point in such a way that you can easily see each store – making it very simple to navigate your way around. Look up and you will see a stunning ceiling dome of colored blue and purple glass, which cause reflections to dance upon the otherwise crisp white interiors of the space.
Beaugrenelle houses fashion, beauty, home and leisure brands including classics such as Sephora, Darty, FNAC and a Marks and Spencer’s that covers three floors! There is also a multiplex Cinema and a number of restaurants.
Not only is Beaugrenelle an easy and calm place to shop, it also offers areas to sit and meet friends surrounded in modern luxury, with free wifi access throughout.
Hidden on the rooftops of Beaugrenelle is 7000m2 of regional vegetation, which unfortunately you cannot see, but it’s the largest eco-space of its kind in Paris!
