This is a big year for ice skating in Paris! Not only is the ice rink at the Eiffel Tower back, but this winter season also sees the re-opening of the amazing ice rink at the Grand Palais. Not open since 2012, it’s not only back … but better than ever! Set beneath the gorgeous glass-domed Grand Palais, the 1,800 square meter ice rink (that’s 19,375 square feet!) is the largest ever built in France. Called the Grande Palais des Glaces, it’s a wonderful chance to experience the Grand Palais like you’ve never seen it before. And at night the scene is sparkling with light shows, musical animations and from 9pm to 2am every night a nightclub feel with DJs and a setting that feels like a big dance floor! There are also plenty of spots to watch the action or take a rest while enjoying a warming vin chaud.

The ice rink is open from December 14 to January 4th, 2015, so you still have time to enjoy this magical experience into the first of the new year. Find out all the details on the Grand Palais des Glaces website.
