If you’ve visited Paris for the holidays then you already know just how lovely it is this time of year. With holiday lights up and down the main shopping streets, Christmas markets, ice skating, festive windows, special holiday pastries and sweets on display and little cafés to warm up with a vin chaud. We love stopping to look at the holiday displays outside the local florists. Red bursts of poinsettias, tiny clumps of holly berries and arrangements of Christmas trees make a colorful addition to the Parisian streets for the holidays.
We had fun looking at all the different sizes of Christmas trees on display … everything from a teeny tiny tree for a studio apartment all the way up large trees perfect for a big Parisian living room! Or perhaps you’d just like a few boughs for decorating and adding that fresh pine scent to your home? You’ll find it all!
Rue Cler is one of our favorite shopping streets in Paris, even more so for the holidays! The lights this year up and down the market street create such a festive setting. I hope you’ve enjoyed this little taste of the holiday decorations and colors in the 7th arrondissement!
