Paris has a special charm throughout the year, but there’s something about the warm colors of autumn that strike a chord. Maybe it’s simply the changing of the season? It is the golden hue of the leaves at sunset? The crisp air and the autumn wind that sends the leaves tumbling through the streets? Whatever it is, it makes us want to put on our boots and go crunching through the piles of yellow and golden leaves in the Champ de Mars Gardens, along the Seine or one of our many favorite spots in Paris. Here are some photos we’ve taken lately while out and about – trying to resist jumping in piles of leaves in Paris!
The last signs of autumn have blown away … and Christmas lights, holiday shop windows and winter temps have arrived in their place. There’s no time to miss autumn, because Paris absolutely sparkles during the holidays with colorful lights, Christmas Markets and a delightfully festive atmosphere.
