There are Paris vacation rentals that have a wow factor, and then there are the ones that wow you so many times you can’t keep track! We’re thrilled to introduce the Margaux, our marvelous Paris Perfect vacation rental in the 7th arrondissement. (This was originally published in 2012. For updated photos, visit the current Margaux listing.)
Located near the Eiffel Tower and the best of the Left Bank, enjoy strolling through the Champ de Mars gardens, shop along the famous Rue Cler market street only two blocks away or enjoy a romantic evening walk along the Seine. This beautifully decorated apartment has been fully remodeled and features three bedrooms, two bathrooms, a comfortable TV room, luxurious kitchen, stylish living room and dining area and the pièce de résistance – a huge wrap around balcony with picture perfect Eiffel Tower views and enough room for an outdoor lounge, dining table for six guests and bistro tables. Be prepared to be wowed! We think it’s the most romantic apartment in Paris we’ve ever seen and truly a knock out in every way. Come along on a photo tour through the Margaux vacation rental. Tell us if you agree … is this the most romantic apartment in Paris?
Stylish Parisian Living Room
We scoured antique markets in Paris and across Europe to find the perfect details to decorate the Margaux. The living room sets the tone for the apartment’s decor, with its classic blend of antique furniture and modern comforts. The cream sofa and the taupe velvet armchairs are a cozy spot to relax any time of the day while reading a good book, making plans for the day in Paris or catching up with family and friends in the evenings.
Everywhere you look you’ll spot charming details, such as vintage photos, the antique hats and hat blocks and the unique curved mirror in the living room. You’ll find a sitting area with two taupe colored chairs and more antique decorations just between the kitchen and dining area. It’s another charming spot to sit and relax during your stay at the Margaux.
Magical Dining Indoors & Outdoors in Paris!
Located between the living room and the kitchen, the Margaux’s dining area is stylish and elegant. A simple white oak table and comfortable cushioned chairs sit right by the large French doors opening out onto the wrap around balcony. Throw the doors open to enjoy the fresh air and leafy view over tree-lined street below, or step outside to enjoy an amazing view over the rooftops of Paris to the Eiffel Tower.
Just outside on the balcony from the dining area you’ll find one of the Margaux’s most remarkable features – a dining table seating up to six guests on the balcony! Light the candles and enjoy a romantic dinner al fresco with the most incredible view of the Eiffel Tower nearby! Dining outside on the Margaux’s balcony during the daytime is just as magical. A huge balcony like this with these incredible views is a dream for most Parisians, and you’ll enjoy it every moment of your stay at the Margaux!
The surprises continue as you explore the balcony at the Margaux! In another spot you’ll find a lounge area with a sofa and armchair. It’s the perfect spot for soaking up the sun or enjoying cocktails on the balcony with outstanding views of the Eiffel Tower!
A Dream Paris Kitchen
The kitchen in the Margaux has been beautifully remodeled and finished with slate grey cabinets in a charming French country style. We love the tin letters that spell out “cuisine,” the word for kitchen in French. Just like in the living room and dining area, large French doors open onto the balcony and the outdoor dining table is nearby. Preparing meals is a pleasure at the Margaux, which features all top of the line appliances. One of the biggest joys is stepping outside while dinner bubbles away on the stove to catch a glimpse of the Eiffel Tower – pure magic.
The Most Romantic Bedroom in Paris!
Just when you think it can’t possibly get any better, you step into the master bedroom at the Margaux to be greeted by the romantic extra-wide queen size bed topped with cream drapes and looking out to one of the best bedroom views we’ve ever seen. Are you ready? Image waking up to this view every morning in Paris!
You’ll be tempted to enjoy breakfast in bed every morning at the Margaux, or simply step outside to the balcony where you can have breakfast at the bistro table nearby. The views of the Eiffel Tower view from the bed are absolutely magical at night when the lights sparkle. Every detail in the Margaux’s master bedroom has been hand-picked to create the most romantic bedroom in Paris!
The master bedroom features a spacious en suite bathroom with a large bathtub, separate walk-in shower, beautiful slanted marble sink and, of course, a fabulous view of the Eiffel Tower! The bathroom is a work of art down to the little details. One of the first things you’ll see is the warm color of the tiles, which are a new design from Italy. They have a unique semi matte finish that almost looks like leather. The iridescent tiles add a lovely accent around the bathtub and on the Venetian style floor of the walk-in shower.
While remodeling the Margaux, the architects suggested removing the window in the en suite bathroom to create a wall for large mirrors above the sink. But blocking out the view of the Eiffel Tower was not an option! The solution was found with a special glass that is opaque from the outside and the creative design of a builder who created clever swinging doors with mirrored panels that can be easily opened when needed. The best of both features were found – the great Eiffel Tower view and a light filled bathroom along with plenty of mirrors when getting ready.
The Elegant & Sunny Second Bedroom
The Margaux’s second bedroom is decorated with antique touches and shades of pale blue and white. Large French doors opening out onto the wrap around balcony fill the room with light. The two twin beds can be zipped together to form a king, just let us know which configuration you prefer and they’ll be ready when you arrive! The bedroom features a beautiful antique chandelier, vintage painting and an antique mirror with decorative frame. It’s such a serene and lovely room!
The Margaux’s Sweet Third Bedroom
The third bedroom at the Margaux overlooks the beautiful courtyard of the building and opens out to a terrace. Large French doors fill the room with light, and it’s such a joy to step out in the mornings to see the rooftops of Paris. Just like in the second bedroom, these two twin beds can also be zipped together to form a king size bed. Decorated with pale green and floral accents, the third bedroom has so many beautiful antique touches!
Two Full Bathrooms at the Margaux
The Margaux has a second full bathroom located near the second and third bedrooms. Beautifully remodeled and finished, this bathroom features a walk-in shower, toilet, modern sink and tons of storage. We love the towel hook letters that spell out the word for bath in French!
Relax in the Margaux’s TV room
If you’re looking for a cozy spot to relax during the day, the Margaux also features a TV room with a sofa and armchair and a huge flat screen TV. Enjoy your favorite movies set in Paris during your stay at the Margaux! We love the decorative Venetian headboard and the throw pillows and blanket with the names of French wines.
Ooh la la … and then there are the views!
We absolutely adore the Margaux inside and out, and it’s the wrap around balcony that really adds that magical touch. You’ll find yourself drawn to the balcony every moment of the day – watching the early morning lights and sunrise over the rooftops of Paris, enjoying lunch and cocktails on the balcony or making a toast under the lights of the Eiffel Tower to an unforgettable vacation in Paris. And when the magical light show begins after dark and the Eiffel Tower sparkles with thousands of lights, you’ll have front row seats for the show!

Hi Lynda, please accept my apologies for the delayed response. The Margaux is a five-minute walk from Fleurie but it’s closer to Ecole Militaire. Fantastic location close to Rue Saint-Dominique, Rue Cler, Champ de Mars and transport.
This is absolutely a beautiful apartment. Very romantic for this romantic city. We have never been to Paris before but we are planning soon. I will keep this in mind and reach out. Thank you for the beautiful pictures!
I love these apartments! So elegant!
