When we stepped in the front door of the Clos Jolie vacation rental for the first time, we knew we had found one of those perfect Paris apartments. The soaring ceilings and huge windows fill the living room and dining room with a beautiful light, and the décor is a charming blend of antiques and modern design. And what a location, right in the heart of Paris’ 1st arrondissement near the Louvre Museum! We’ll discover the charms of the neighborhood very soon, but first we’d love to take you on a tour around this beautiful Paris apartment.
The living room is a comfortable spot for relaxing with your family and friends in the evening. It’s located between the dining room to the right and the kitchen just through a doorway to the left, which means that conversation can flow while preparing and enjoying dinner all together.
With a dining room as beautiful and elegant as the Clos Jolie’s, you’ll look forward to relaxing evenings at home enjoying meals prepared with fresh ingredients from the nearby markets and food shops. After a day of sightseeing in Paris, it’s a pleasure to return home to a spacious apartment where you can truly relax while still enjoying the charms of a beautiful Paris apartment. You’ll have plenty of space to relax during your stay at the Clos Jolie, which has three bedrooms and a TV room through the doorway in the dining room, which features a queen-sized bed and half bathroom.
That staircase you spy in the photo above leads up to one of the Clos Jolie’s cleverest features – a mezzanine level with two bedrooms and a full bathroom! We’ll climb those steps in just a moment, but first you must see the stunning fully remodeled kitchen.
This beautiful and modern kitchen has been custom designed with floor to ceiling cabinets, granite worktops and features a table with four leather stools that is perfect for breakfast in the mornings. You’ll find all the modern conveniences in this gorgeous kitchen, including a wine cellar cabinet for keeping your wines at just the right temperature. A lovely touch!
The beautiful master bedroom is located on the main level beyond the dining area. A hallway leads to the peaceful bedroom, which features a comfortable queen size bed with luxurious linens.
Near the bedroom is the entrance to the master bathroom, which has been beautifully remodeled and features a bathtub/ shower combination, toilet and a large vanity area with sink, large mirrors and plenty of storage.
Now it’s up those stairs to the mezzanine level! Taking advantage of the soaring ceilings, the Clos Jolie has a clever second level that really creates a ton of extra space. Upstairs you’ll find two bedrooms and a full bathroom! We love this creative use of space, but always caution guests that the ceiling height on the mezzanine is approximately 6 feet 2 inches high. That makes it comfortable for average height people, but taller guests may prefer staying in the master bedroom on the main level. All of the rooms on the main level, including the living room, dining room, kitchen, TV room, master bedroom and bathroom, have normal height or double height ceilings.
Both bedrooms on the mezzanine are a welcoming spot to retire to at the end of the day. One bedroom is decorated in shades of lavender and features a cozy queen size bed. The other bedroom, which overlooks down to the TV room on the lower level (but just barely so there’s plenty of privacy!), has two twin beds and beautiful linens. Just outside the bedrooms guests staying on the mezzanine level enjoy the convenience of a full bathroom with sink, toilet and a shower.
