Sunset from our Paris apartment on a cold January evening; the view over the Champ de Mars Gardens is unmatched from this warm and welcoming apartment on the Left Bank. Our Paris apartment has a beautiful view and guests say they will never stay in a hotel again. They love the fact that they can gather round at night and enjoy each other’s conversation in the living room, simply relax on a quiet day. They love having the option of cooking in the kitchen when they please, a big savings over eating out at restaurants for every meal.
Parisians out on a snowy day; when you look for a Paris vacation rental, think about factors such as the views from your Paris apartment because these little touches are often the most memorable. Look closely at the signs in the picture and you know the St. Julien apartment is in the center of Paris and walking distance to landmarks. The signs point the way to the Invalides Church, the site where Napoleon is buried and home to the largest military museum in the world – it is only seven blocks from your Paris apartment rental. You cannot miss the golden dome when you approach it. The other sign points to Ecole Militaire, where Napoleon attended military school, where elite French soliders are trained today. No one needs a sign to see the Eiffel Tower, just to your right.
Angels in the snow from the building across the street, the view from the living room. It’s a beautiful Haussmanian street, located just on the famous Champ du Mars Gardens. There are 3 playgrounds, basketball court, puppet theatre, hand cranked carousel. You see generations of French families sitting on benches, taking their children and grandchildren to the park on Sunday afternoons.
The French flag, ‘bleu, blanc, rouge’ against white snow in February, fluttering across the street.
