The white and blue tiled bathroom features a bathtub with shower combination, sink, lots of counter space and washer/dryer combination.
Staying in an apartment with a washer/dryer is a nice advantage over a hotel -- you can pack fewer clothes and wash them as often as you need -- a nice savings.
There is a large window next to the bathtub which overlooks the courtyard and lets in natural sunlight during the day. We don't mind if our bathrooms overlook the inner courtyards of buildings because the lack of view and more somber aspect is less important here. In Paris, the courtyards are where the concierge keeps her cleaning supplies and where the rubbish bins are stored -- and they can be quite depressing.
But for the living room and all of the main rooms, give us the cherished outward view of Paris from french doors every time! These special are extremely difficult to find -- after all, there are only one or two few of these apartments floors in a building and not many buildings that have special views. But our guests invest a lot to visit The City of Light and we want them to enjoy every minute of their stay.
