The Pinot Paris Apartment Rental Living room

Living room of the Pinot Paris apartment rental

We’ve completely remodeled the Pinot apartment rental and it’s natural sunlight and beauty shine through. Step into the apartment’s spacious entry and turn right into the living room, kitchen and apartment dining room. There is a wooden mantelpiece on the right hand wall, which serves as a focal point for the room, with carved wood antique mirror that reflects the tree lined Boulevard outside. The Paris apartment’s long sofa converts to two single beds at night, one a trundle under the other. It’s a practical solution if for up to a family of four who are vacationing in Paris and looking for a special apartment rental. A zinc coffee table and antique armchairs which have been reupholstered in beige fabric create a comfortable room to relax in. On either side are wooden lamps with dark rust shades. The pillows are small red checked and red and beige stripes.

On the left hand wall is a large screen TV, plus dual standard dvd player so you can bring your favorite movies to watch – we even send you a list of favorite Paris movies for you to watch or bring with you on your Paris vacation.

Beautiful pictures grace the wall behind and next to sofa in the Pinot Paris apartment rental, copies of antique designs for a lantern and chandelier. The black carved frames are set off against the beige walls and recall the beautiful crystal chandelier hanging in the Paris apartment living room.

Look left towards the Paris apartment entryway with bathroom on the right and bedroom beyond. The Pinot Paris vacation rental is an excellent layout because the bathroom and powder room are both accessible from the living room or bedroom – handy at night or when you’re getting ready in the morning.

We’ve re-sanded the old oak floors and restored the crown molding putting back the charm in this beautiful Parisian apartment.

The living room of our Pinot Paris vacation rental from the large French doors and the balcony. A pretty picture hangs in the decorative fireplace and small lamps add a touch of light that reflects in the mirror. We found some copies of photographs from the 1800’s of this very neighborhood, which we’ve framed and placed on the living room walls – wonderful views of Paris as the Eiffel Tower was being built. While the old stores are gone, the streets and buildings are exactly as they were built over 200 years ago.

Here is the view towards the kitchen and entryway. We love the combination of old and modern in traditional Paris apartments – such as the modern kitchen contrasting with the parquet floors and the crystal chandeliers in the apartment rental dining room and living room. We furnish our Paris vacation rentals with a mix of contemporary furniture such as the sofa and antiques and we think the Pinot apartment rental turned out beautifully. The old armchairs are completely reupholstered and recovered with beige and white fabric in a decoration of bees – really comfortable and charming as well.

We have remodeled the Pinot apartment rental twice over a period of four years, because we weren’t happy with the first attempt. We made the kitchen larger and added better lighting throughout the apartment – something that is very rare in Paris apartment rentals. We remodeled the entryway closets, the WC and the bedroom and we re-sanded the apartment’s floors and polished them again. Anyone who has ever remodeled an apartment in Paris, or anywhere for that matter, knows that you can make superficial changes which ‘look good but don’t fly’ – and which Paris apartment rental guests notice when they spend time at home. For example, there just weren’t enough electric plugs; there wasn’t enough lighting and the WC was tired. The bed was squeezed into the far wall because shallow cupboards meant it couldn’t fit on the longest wall of the apartment. We removed the cupboards, added large ones in the hallway, and fixed the niggly features to transform the apartment into a stunning Paris apartment rental.
