Comments: We certainly had the same wonderful experiences described in all these guest book comments.
What we would like to stress therefore, is our great satisfaction with the apartment rental process itself. This was our first apartment rental abroad via the internet and we had some initial trepidation about doing so. These fears quickly began to dissipate as soon as we initiated the reservation, thanks to your timely and helpful responses. From that first moment, right up to our arrival and subsequent departure, everything proceeded like clockwork. Your attention to every detail is quite commendable. This performance was also reflected by your on-site staff who welcomed and helped us during our stay.
We do not hesitate for a moment to recommend Paris Perfect and we are seriously considering a return visit next year as a result of this happy experience.

Comments: We recently had the pleasure of spending 8 nights in one of the Paris Perfect apartments (Muscadet) located on Avenue de la Bourdonnais.

The apartment was lovely - very comfortable, efficient and it had everything we needed for the week. What made it so very special was the view of the Eiffel Tower that we came home to every evening and woke up to every morning.

Paris is such a wonderful place to visit - we could have spent another week and still not seen everything on our list. We ate at many of the restaurants that were recommended by Madelyn and Phillipe, and we were not disappointed. One of our favorites was Au Petit Sud Ouest... the owner made us feel very comfortable trying new foods and we had a wonderful evening.

The Paris Perfect staff was always available to help when needed, and we were so glad we called Victor to take us to the airport.

We can't wait until our next vacation to Paris - we highly recommend Paris Perfect! Thank you!

Comments: We recently enjoyed nine perfect nights in the Pinot apartment. It exceeded our expectations and was fantastic in every way. We loved the quieter location and yet found easy access to metro and bus stops. All the little extra touches provided by Marelyn and Phillipe were really appreciated.

Of course being able to see the Eiffel tower twinkling at night was just the icing on the cake!

We enjoyed sampling the local restaurants and our favourite was the Le Petit Troquet in rue de l'Exposition, so close and such fantastic food. Try the Pork and lemon confit if it is on the menu - the best. Also the duck at the very conveniently located (right across the road)Au Petit Sud Ouest was outstanding, also the lady there was very friendly and offered to help us in any way.

We would recommend Paris Perfect to all and would definately stay again in their apartments.

Comments: Paris has served as the book-end of 3 previous vacation trips to Europe, so when my husband and I were planning our 50th birthday/20 anniversary/no children vacation, we knew it was time to give Paris our full attention and we also knew we wanted an apartment in the rue Cler area.

When I discovered ParisPerfect I knew that I would plan our vacation around when I could book the apartment I wanted. Our trip turned out to be all that I hoped it would be, and Pomerol was a large part of the success!

We spent 10 days "playing house" out of our lovely, well-planned apartment. We breakfasted on local baked goods and fruit with the Eiffel Tower in sight. We picked one neighborhood a day, walked until we could no longer move, and always knew we could stop off at our comfortable apartment for a short (or long) rest. On days when we ate a large restaurant lunch, we knew we could always find something delicious in the markets on our street to make a light dinner. Every evening, no matter what time, we would stroll the Parc du Champs de Mars for the day's last look of the tower - and it was always there again in the morning, framed in the dining area window!

We planned our trip for the early fall when the open air markets would be bursting with lovely goods, and I highly recommend that visitors take advantage of the bounty these vendors bring into Paris every day.

Thank you Madelyn and Philippe for the thought and care you have put into your properties. This was a dream vacation!

Comments: Philippe and Madelyn,

What can I say but truly spectacular was my recent stay at Cabernet. For my first trip to Paris I must say that this was the way to go. It was like being at home except with a great view! All of your helpful hints on the neighborhood were greatly appreciated. I would like to add a few more stops to try for dinner. La Casa di Sergio at 20 Rue de la Exposition is a very charning Italian restaurant and the chef owner Michael is very froendly and personally comes out and greets each table. I recommend the prix fixed dinner and let the waiter make the selections and you will not be disappointed. The next place is Bar A Vins at 68 Avenue Basquet. The menu is in French and English and the food was absolutely incredible. Try and sit outside as it gets rather warm inside from the heat of the kitchen.

Thank you again and I look forward to returning and staying at another one of your apartments.

All the best,

Janine Lamarra

Comments: My son and I vacationed in London for our first time this past September and stayed in the Cornwall Apartment. The trip was fabulous and our accomodations helped make it even more so. The apartment, itself, was very comfortable and offered a welcome respite at the end of our busy days. The Kensington location could not have been better. Madelyn and Philippe had great suggestions (we followed almost all of them) with respect to transport to and from the airport, where to dine, what to do, and how to make economical phonecalls back home (SKYPE!). We plan to return to "London Perfect" next year with the entire family! Jane Howard, Modesto, California

Comments: Thankyou, Philippe and Madelyn, for offering your beautiful 'Cabernet' apartment to Carol and I this past September.

The views of the Eifel Tower were incredible, and the apartment itself was very spacious and comfortable. We especially enjoyed your expresso machine in the kitchen...each morning started with a fresh late, pastry and fruit...ahh, Paris!

We also appreciated your referral to Victor, who drove us from the train station to the apartment, as well as taking us on several other excursions (and to the airport). His calm demeanor and knowledge of Paris made specific driving efforts through the City very relaxing and enjoyable...well worth the extra money (as opposed to a taxi).

Hope you both have a great 2005...keep up the great work with the apartments...hope to 'sample' more of your offerings in the coming years!

Sincerely,
Tommy & Carol McDonald

Comments: My wife, my 3 children, ages 13, 15, and 17, and I spent the first week in July in the Romanee apartment. It was everything the website promised, except for one – it was even closer to the Eiffel Tower than the map or the pictures indicate! It was wonderful.

Paris Perfect delivered on everything it promised. Our flight was late, our shuttle took over two hours to get us to the apartment, we couldn’t get our cell phone to function, and when we showed up at the apartment, Caroline was already there to greet us and let us drop off our bags. The apartment was cleaned and available for us only a few hours later (much earlier than we hoped) and we were able to return and sleep and then enjoy Paris over the next 7 days.

Every day in Paris was great. Shopping and sight-seeing was all made so much easier by having a “home” to return to and rest and relax before going out to dinner.

The apartment was everything you see on the website and more. With 3 teenagers and two adults each wanting to shower / bathe in the morning and after a long day out, we had two baths/showers in simultaneous use and we still never ran out of hot water. The fact that the Romanee has two separate toilets (one separate WC and one toilet in the master bath) was a godsend.

The apartment was exceedingly quiet and safe and sleeping was easy and comfortable every night. Two adults in the master bedroom, one child in the other bedroom, one on the fold out bed in the living room (which each of the children agreed was the best bed), and one on a futon in the living room. We had ample and comfortable space. We over-packed by a factor of 2 or 3, and we still had more than enough space for our clothing and bags.

It is a wonderful location (just a VERY SHORT block from the Eiffel Tower and such a wonderful, safe neighborhood). My wife and I spent three nights out at dinner by ourselves, and our children went to the Eiffel Tower by themselves after dark two of these nights and mingled with the throngs of tourists. We felt very comfortable letting the children go out on their own (so long as they stayed together) to the Eiffel Tower and to the local Pizzeria for takeout (run by a very courteous and friendly Algerian gentleman who spoke just a word or two of English but was able to understand exactly what our children ordered).

Each trip to Paris must include at least one trip up the Eiffel Tower. We took at least three. Having it so close meant that we could visit it several times at the exact time we wanted, to see the view from the top in the day, at sunset and after dark.

The “Fun Things to Do in Paris” brochure, which Paris Perfect provided by email before we arrived, was excellent. We visited several of the restaurants that the brochure recommended. Our children’s favorite was La Taverna, which the whole family loved. On one of our “nights out” without the kids, my wife and walked to Thoumieux where I tried the “Cassoulet” recommended by Philippe in the brochure. I couldn’t believe that I had traveled all the way to Paris (the home of the world's best cuisine) to order a bean casserole. But it turned to be my favorite meal of the trip. Thank you Philippe and Madelyn.

There are 4 metro/RER stops within easy walking distance – Ecole Militaire, Pont de l’Alma (which seemed to be the closest), Bir-Hakeim and Champs de Mars. No matter where we were in the City, at least one of these stops was usually only one transfer away, and sometimes, no need to transfer at all.

When we vacation with my children, we usually rent an apartment in the city we visit. The children are simply too mature for one hotel room to work, and to rent two rooms splits up the family and ruins the experience. Our experiences in resort/apartment rentals range from “good” to “miserable”. Our last jaunt was to the Fiesta Bowl in Phoenix in December where we stayed at a well known golf resort in a 3 bedroom condo. It was nice, but it could not compare to ParisPerfect. The Romanee was miles and miles better than any other apartment or resort I have ever been to, and was, well – Perfect! We would go back in a heartbeat. Thank You Paris Perfect.

Comments: My husband and I just returned from Paris and stayed in a wonderful Paris Perfect apartment. Although it was small (loft bedroom) it was perfect. We had never been to Paris before and neither of us could speak a word of French and we had a ball! We followed Madelyn's advice of where to shop and eat and we had no problems. The neighborhood was beautiful and being steps away from the Eiffel Tower and the subway was perfect. We are also avid runners and ran along the Seine with no problem. I wish we stayed longer. The apartment made Paris so accessible that we are considering bringing our kids and doing it again next year!

Comments: We rented a marvelous house in Douvres la Delivrande, Normandy, a short drive from Caen, Bayeux, and the landing beaches. The town itself was lovely, with a wonderful morning market on Thursdays and Saturdays. The home was tasteful, comfortable, and elegant. We even had fresh eggs from the property's own chickens! I can't recommend this highly enough - a truly memorable vacation.

Comments: My husband and I just returned from a week in Paris, where we celebrated our 25th wedding anniversary. We had an amazing time! We've only been in Europe once before, on our honeymoon. For this special anniversary trip, we selected Paris because of its reputation as one of the most beautiful, romantic cities in the world. After planning for the trip for over a year, you can imagine that our hopes and expectations were pretty high. Paris exceeded them all! One very special aspect of this vacation was staying in the lovely Pomerol apartment. While some other Paris Perfect apartments are more spacious, we chose the Pomerol so that we could be right on Rue Cler. We loved the idea of being able to go down to the street at our leisure each day, wandering among all the street stands of the local merchants, buying fresh fruit, bread, pastries, cheese, wine, etc. All the shop owners were very warm and friendly. The cafes in this area are very vibrant, filled with local Parisians more than tourists. The Pomeral has such a charming ambiance! Madelyn and Philippe have furnished and decorated the apartment so beautifully! It is obvious that the comfort of their guests is very important to them. Comfortable bed, soft sheets, fluffy towels, a great shower, a very well appointed kitchen, etc. It was so unbelievable to be able to sit at the dining room table late in the evening, with the windows wide open, listening to the lively chatter from the cafe down on the street, while watching the Eiffel Tower sparkle. From now on, whenever we think of Paris, we'll remember the charming neighborhood and fabulous apartment that we called home for a week. If we ever go back, we'd definitely want to return to the Pomerol.

Comments: My sister and I stayed for a week in a one bedroom apartment near the Eiffel Tower. It was spotless, convenient, and well-equipped. I would never stay at a hotel again for a week-long stay or more -- it is wonderful to come back "home" after a long day of strolling Paris and sit on the balcony with a glass of wine and gaze at the Tower.
Having your team close by and easily reachable was also nice -- they replaced a hairdryer immediately and helped us get a taxi to Roissey.

A very nice way to visit Paris.
