Description of our Paris apartment rental

When you think of this Paris apartment rental, think of romance and honeymoons in Paris, special occasions and memories of a lifetime! Our Fleurie apartment is located in an Art Deco building in the heart of this lively neighborhood, ideally situated on the Left Bank near the Seine and the Eiffel Tower. It is very romantic and ideal for a Paris honeymoon. It is equally great for a family of four or group of friends who want to come to Paris and enjoy space and unparalleled views for a memory of a lifetime. There are two mobile air conditioning units, one in the living room and one in the bedroom for your added comfort.

Many of our guests at www.parisperfect.com stay at our apartments in Paris for that special occasion: for their Paris honeymoon, to propose while the Eiffel Tower twinkles in the background, for that unforgettable anniversary, special birthday or reunion with family and friends. Fleurie is one of the favorite apartments for your unforgettable trip to the City of Lights.

It is located on the 5th floor (elevator) of an Art Deco building in the heart of the 7th Arrondissement. It is one of our most spacious one bedroom apartments, 675 square feet, where you can comfortably relax with family and friends and enjoy your Paris sojourn a’ la Parisienne!

In keeping with the Art Deco style of the apartment, we found several beautiful pieces of beautiful art deco furniture in Paris and have combined them with contemporary sofas and furnishings to create a soft art deco touch; a perfect backdrop for a Paris Honeymoon.

Step into the spacious entryway to find a pretty 40’s style bar on your left – rosewood veneer outside and pale sycamore inside. Straight ahead there is the large living/dining room. This spacious room measures 250 square feet and faces west, which means sunlight streams in from the large window from afternoon to sunset. Step to the large window and the view of the Eiffel Tower is amazing; just ahead of you and only a few blocks away. It’s an unforgettable site, whether for your first or 50th visit to Paris, for your honeymoon in Paris or a get together with good friends.

The living room has a large, high quality sofa bed that was made for us in Italy. We have tested many and found this manufacturer to have the best quality and style. The sofa is extremely comfortable for sitting and for catnapping on during the day. At night it converts to two twin beds, by easily rolling out the trundle bed underneath. Italian design is remarkable; a spring allows you to pull the trundle to bed level and even a headboard pops up! Families with children love them, because they can sleep separately.

Two chocolate suede chairs face the sofa, wide and comfortable for sitting in. We believe in comfort at www.parisperfect.com, and finding the right armchairs often requires a long search and considerable investment. We discovered them at Andrew Martin in London in their soft interpretation of the art deco style. The colors blend with the beige, copper and turquoise tones of the sofa and of the luxurious turquoise silk drapes.

There is a flat screen plasma tv and dual standard dvd player so you can bring your favorite movies from home. Tune into CNN, CNBC and BBC and a variety of other channels. The CD player and radio are next to the tv so you can bring your favorite music to enjoy during your stay.

On the far left of the living room is a beautiful art deco style partner’s desk; it’s a beautiful shape and just right for downloading your emails or working on the free high speed internet line.

As with all of our apartments, we fit the highest quality double glass windows in our apartments, the same as used by luxury hotels. This means you can have a quiet night’s sleep while living in the heart of Paris.

The dining area is on the right side of the room, with rectangular dining table for 6. Four floor-to-ceiling closets were built behind the table for plenty of storage. The chandelier is pure art deco, with corral colored stones inlaid on the sanded glass lights.

Walk down the long hallway, past another set of floor to ceiling closets to find the large kitchen on your right. We fell in love with the rounded, cream colored cabinets and remodeled around them to preserve the 30’s look.. Above the countertop, pale cream tiles blend beautifully with the cabinets and a line of black tile adds to the authenticity. The small mosaic floor is classic art deco, white with black borders. We have upgraded everything to make a modern kitchen: new refrigerator/freezer by Miele, dishwasher, oven, electric stove and microwave and loads of counter space. In addition, find toaster, Nespresso cappuccino machine, Melitta drip coffee machine, stainless steel pots and pans, restaurant quality porcelain and a full range of cooking accessories. There is a large window which faces the courtyard, providing lots of sunlight.

Continue down the corridor and find the powder room or wc next on your left, just before the bedroom. The handy location means that guests can access the wc from either the living room or the bedroom without disturbing others. The powder room also has a small sink and provencal style blue tiles for decoration; cupboard and lots of hooks mean this is a good ‘getting ready’ room, separate from the main bathroom.

Step into the large master bedroom ahead. This room overlooks the quiet courtyard and offers a wide queen-sized bed, unique art deco partner’s desk and sofa at the foot of the bed. The colors are soft and romantic: plum, beige, pale greens. We were delighted to find a Venetian style headboard and painted dresser to blend perfectly with the plum colors of the silk drapes. This spacious room is romantic but also practical, as we have installed a second tv and dvd player so children can relax while the parents enjoy a glass of wine in the living room.

The master bathroom is next with a bathtub/shower combination, two sinks, excellent lighting.

A large walk in closet off the bedroom provides plenty of storage for clothes and suitcases, a rarity in Paris. The separate washer and dryer are found here for added convenience.

We leave several Paris guidebooks and other information on the neighborhood for you to peruse during your stay.

This is a non-smoking apartment and, sorry, but no pets are allowed.

We think this is one of the most romantic and comfortable apartments in Paris as all of our returning guests tell us. Please let me know if you have any other questions about our Paris apartment rental or if we can help in any way. We think your stay at www.parisperfect.com will create memories of a lifetime!
