The fabulous living room of our Paris apartment rental is furnished with two long beige sofas and a pair of comfortable armchairs, to comfortably seat up to 10. The elegant look of our Paris rental apartment blends the contemporary soft furnishings with beautiful antiques in soft brown tones. The sofas are from Italy and are over 6 feet long, so you can catnap during the day. At night, the seat pulls out to make a full sized twin bed. Underneath is a trundle bed with spring action which lifts to the same level as the sofa and makes a second regular twin sized bed for everynight sleeping. The armchairs add a touch of humor with pink polka dot fabric from Jane Churchhill in London. They contrast beautifully with the brown tones of the sofas and silk curtains. An antique English writing desk is on your left, with free wireless high speed internet connection. There is air conditioning in this room and in the master bedroom – but most of our guests tell us that they never need it because of the cross ventilation on this high floor. The living room is excellent for relaxing with friends and family; the high point is that you can see the Eiffel Tower while sitting on the back sofa. One of the family’s who stayed with us told her mother that the Eiffel Tower was dancing … and she was almost right.

A warm and welcoming room for getting together with friends and family after a long day of siteseeing and shopping. One of our guests catered a reception for 40 here; the guests were mostly Parisian and were enchanted by the balcony and view. The location and view are special, even for lifelong Parisians residents. |
