The living room is cozy but well designed and so comfortable. We found a cherry wood dining table that comfortably seats four and four wooden bistro chairs to sit around it. The table is in of the living room window so you have one of the best seats in Paris when you dine, right in your own Paris apartment! Prepare meals from fresh local products that you’ve found while touring Paris – or do as we do, go to the Picard frozen food store a few blocks away and stock up on fresh frozen soups, vegetables, souffles and more – and pretend you slaved all day to prepare dinner at home in your Paris apartment. It’s fun to enjoy the special features of beautiful old Paris apartments; for example, the original white porcelain stove which heated the apartment in olden days takes center position next to the dining table. Open the brass doors and there is a small shelf where the family would keep dinner warm and even bake bread when the stove was lit. |
