Sunlight pours in from the windows overlooking the large private garden of our gorgeous apartment rental in Paris to reveal an expansive living room that easily accommodates a comfortable seating area and a desk with high-speed Internet set in front of the decorative fireplace. When you vacation in Paris, you want to be able to relax and truly enjoy your surroundings, so we furnish and decorate our Paris apartment rentals with exactly that in mind. Two square arches frame the doorway between the apartment rental dining room and the living room, adding both light and a more open feel to each. Large wooden lamps with square shades add soft light, as do the floor and table lamps spread throughout the living room. Find a comfortable sofa with down cushions that you can sink into at the end of your day of sightseeing and shopping in Paris. Facing it are two comfortable armchairs to form a roomy seating area. The sofa cover is removable so we can clean it regularly, a small but important feature in most of our apartment rentals. The cover is actually red, to give an idea of how it highlights this spacious living room. All around the apartment living room are several beautiful antiques: an old oak bookcase with original leather-covered books, and an antique desk behind the sofa where you can write home about your Paris vacation, or email friends and colleagues. There is an oak table to the right of the fireplace with a small collection of antique boxes, used for stationery and games in ancient times. The mirror above the fireplace highlights the room’s high ceiling and the beautifully detailed woodwork. A pretty terra cotta bust of a young girl graces the marble fireplace. The living room and dining room of the Chambertin Paris apartment rental can be closed off from the rest of the apartment, so if one of you is up late or early, you can read in this room and enjoy the garden view without disturbing anyone. You will find it hard to believe you are in the heart of Paris when you open the large windows and gaze onto your large private garden! Even though you are in the heart of the Left Bank in Paris, the apartment’s location on a small street just off Ave de la Bourdonnais greatly diminishes the normal traffic noises associated with a large city. There are very few of these kinds of Paris apartments, which offer privacy and a feeling of being in the open country, and they are extremely rare in the Paris apartment rental market, so we know you will love staying in this unique vacation home. |
