The café du marché at lunchtime. A favorite of ours and always crowded!


Le Nôtre is one of the best patisseries in Paris; stop for a coffee or have lunch in a delicious surrounding.


We buy our olive oils at Olivier and Cie and our fresh pasta at Gastronomia Italiana.


La Tarte Julie bought the premises of the last horse butcher of the quartier. The old decorations are beautiful.


The produce stands on rue Cler are excellent; choose from at least four of them so prices are always competitive.


There are 4 flower stands on rue Cler, each with gorgeous selections of fresh cut flowers and plants.


The specials outside are always the best.

Rue cler has 4 or 5 excellent greengrocers.


Davoli, an institution and the best choucroute and lasagna in Paris.

The beautiful selection of fresh fruits and vegetables makes you want to cook your own gourmet meal.


When you selection your cheeses in France, be sure to ask them to select the correct freshness for the day you plan to eat your it: ‘The camembert is for tomorrow; the St. Felicient is for tonight.’ The assistants are happy to squeeze until they find just the right one.
